Armed with a map, compass and backpack, the pupils set off in groups (led by teachers/parents) into the Adventure Forest. During the +/- 5-kilometre trek, they will encounter various tasks.
At the end of the tour, the groups will receive materials to make a fire in a large fire bowl.
When the fire is burning properly, marshmallows can be roasted!
The tasks the groups will encounter during the survival trip include: rope net, cable car, tilt ladders and a survival course.
Besides assignments during the survival tour, various team assignments are also set out on the field. These can include tasks such as a flying carpet and the caterpillar run.
This allows the groups to start one after the other. Some groups start at the tasks on the field and the others go straight into the forest.
